DESCRIPTION:Interested in becoming a volunteer reading tutor for elementary-age children? The Brown Memorial Tutoring Program\, which has been operating in the Bolton Hill neighborhood for nearly 60 years\, is looking for tutors for the 2022-2023 school year. No teaching or tutoring experience needed. Brown Memorial Tutoring Program staff will train you in the Orton-Gillingham Method\, a proven literacy approach to help struggling readers. We work with Baltimore City students in the first through fifth grade during the school day\, on-site in our Tutoring Center located in Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church.\n \nCome along and bring a friend to learn about how you can become a tutor!
