DESCRIPTION:Chess Jam in F. Scott Fitzgerald Park (corner of Bolton & Wilson Sts.) will be held on Sunday\, August 21 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. This is a free community event. \nChess players young-to-old\, novice to experienced are welcome to attend. Tables and chairs will be provided. We will also have instruction tables for those new to the game lead by youth chess coach Michael Tobin. Bringing your own set is welcome. We will have standard chess sets on hand with roll up boards from the U.S. Chess Federation for optional purchase. \nFor further information email Michael Tobin or Lisa Johnson. \n
