Twice a year, TreeBaltimore hosts a gathering to celebrate the city's tree canopy. This informative networking opportunity is free and open to the public. Meet your Baltimore City advocates, planters, maintainers, researchers, and huggers of trees from boots-on-the-ground volunteers to policy and conservation professionals. Pinkie Fingers (Old Time) with Bolton Hill resident Gabriel Fricks-Starratt and friends will perform a concert on February 25th at 6:00 p.m. in Basilica Oratory at Corpus Christi, Lafayette Avenue and Mount Royal Avenue. The concert is free.

Join us Tuesday, March 31st at 4pm for a few hours of light work, food and refreshments in the Mount Royal Public School Pollinator Garden (across from On the Hill Cafe at Mosher & Johns Streets). We're prepping the garden for spring planting: transplanting bushes, laying down a weed barrier to deter the wire grass and preparing for a delivery of several yards of wood chips later in the week. Join the Bolton Hill Garden Club for its 6th annual Plant Swap and Seed Exchange, a free, public event open to all. Bring extra plants, cuttings, seeds, or seedlings to share—and go home with something new. The Plant Swap is a relaxed, community-focused event where gardeners of all experience levels are welcome. You don’t need to bring plants to participate, and you don’t need to be a member. Come browse, trade, talk gardening, and meet neighbors.
