State Sen. Antonio Hayes (D), whose legislative District 40 includes Bolton Hill and most of West Baltimore, says he plans to revive a neighborhood alliance to help determine the future of the soon-to-be-empty 28-acre State Center complex at the south edge of the neighborhood.
That declaration acts as a preface to BHCA’s new strategic plan for Bolton Hill, the first such document in 15 years, intended to guide the association in establishing priorities and interacting with city government and private interests. The 21-page plan was unanimously adopted by the BHCA board at its April Zoom meeting.
Bolton Hill Community Association recently put together a group of residents to update the neighborhood’s Strategic Plan. We began this effort in the 1980s and periodically over the years have updated the plan.
