Volunteer Tree Pruning
Come on out to prune trees in Bolton Hill! No experience necessary. The Midtown Community Benefits District will provide the tools and make sure novice pruners are paired with experienced pruners. Meet at Fitzgerald Park, and small groups will be assigned to different blocks. To have an idea of the number of volunteers to expect, please indicate if you plan to attend here.

Celebrate Fresh at the Avenue's 7th Anniversary with our virtual Sip & Sauté Event! Fresh at the Avenue, a program of The No Boundaries Coalition, is hosting its Sip & Sauté fundraiser in celebration of 7 years of fresh food access in Sandtown. Afghan Crafts Bazaar
A community of refugees from Afghanistan, brought here after the U.S. military withdrawal in 2021, is living in Reservoir Hill just a short walk north between Bolton Hill and Druid Hill Park. A few of the women have, with community support, formed a sewing collective and will display and sell their creations--clothing, handicrafts and jewelry--at a bazaar on Sunday, March 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church.
