Boltonstock gives way to block party. Festival on the Hill set for Oct. 8

BHCA has proposed dropping the annual Boltonstock celebration this year and instead supporting the No Boundaries Coalition block party to be held in June, as NBC moves its offices to the new Unity Hall on Eutaw Place. The party will take place on the Eutaw Place park median that fronts the renovated building.

Five years in the planning, St. Francis Neighborhood Center starts construction

With nearly $5 million pledged or in the bank and lots of politicians and funders lined up to wish them well,  leaders of St. Francis Neighborhood Center held a virtual groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of a new facility at the site of their present headquarters at 2405 Linden Ave.
