Bolton Hill family upended by death of husband/father

A Bolton Hill man was killed last month while on a work assignment in Florida. Dewlon Gene Donnell, 46, lived on Bolton Street with his wife, Dee, and their two children, 8 and 13, both of whom attend Mt. Royal school.

The company he worked for as an electrician was contracted by the Publix supermarket chain for an extended project in Davenport, FL. According to WMAR TV news, Donnell and two work colleagues were attacked by a fourth worker, a Pennsylvania man, who was arrested.

A GoFundMe page has been created to assist the family. “They are very nice people,” said a neighbor, Margaret Carruthers. “And they appreciate the support of their neighbors.”
