A celebration of life for the late Frank R. Shivers, Jr., a beloved longtime resident of Bolton Hill who wrote the classic book on Bolton Hill, is scheduled for Saturday, September 24 starting at 3:30 pm at Fitzgerald Park the afternoon before the second annual F. Gray Panthers Ice Cream Social
BHCA's Older Residents Task Force -- now known as the Bolton Hill Gray Panthers -- will host an ice cream social Saturday, Oct. 1, at 3 p.m. on the grounds of Linden Park Apartments, 301 McMechen Street. Bolton Hill residents 60 years of age or older are invited to attend. A $3 cash donation is suggested to cover costs. Bring a chair or blanket.
