Brown Memorial Tutoring Program Open House (Afternoon Session)

Interested in becoming a volunteer reading tutor for elementary-age children? The Brown Memorial Tutoring Program, which has been operating in the Bolton Hill neighborhood for nearly 60 years, is looking for tutors for the 2022-2023 school year. No teaching or tutoring experience needed. Brown Memorial Tutoring Program staff will train you in the Orton-Gillingham Method, a proven literacy approach to help struggling readers. We work with Baltimore City students in the first through fifth grade during the school day, on-site in our Tutoring Center located in Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church.
