Lennox Street Garden

Join us this Saturday, April 25th from 9am – noon for a special visit to Lennox Street Community Garden in Reservoir Hill (Lennox Street between Park and Bolton).
The garden is a hidden gem just north of the “Reservoir Square” development and the team there is doing a major spring refresh, getting ready to overhaul the southern entrance to the garden. They can use extra hands for:
- Spreading two existing mounds of soil across the entrance and seeding parts of it with microclover
- Transplanting daylilies and irises (extras for volunteers!)
- Planting and watering in new perennials
- Installing some (light weight) fencing while the entrance is under construction.
Kids warmly welcome. Bring yourself and gloves. Later in the season, the garden will host volunteers for a “Two on Tuesday” of light work and refreshments to celebrate the renovation.
