Program to Support the Memorial Episcopal Church Afghan Relief Fund
As we enter the Holiday season, I hope you will join us in beginning the season providing support for our Afghan friends who suddenly find themselves without a place to call home. This "Friendsgiving" celebration featuring food from The Helmand will raise funds to support the Memorial Church Afghan Relief Fund. Here's how it works: 1) Choose your meal from The Helmand. Come on out and join other neighbors in pruning street trees around Bolton Hill! Midtown Community Benefits District will be providing the equipment. Just bring yourself and a pair of gloves. No experience necessary! Midtown will provide a demo on pruning, and you'll work with other neighborhood volunteers.
