PeaceCYCLE is a small initiative in Port au Prince that employs about 15 Haitians who "upcycle" the sachet de l'eau (water bags) that litter Haiti.  This 3 minute video explains their work.  For years, the vast majority of their products have been sold at their workshop, largely to the Embassy/NGO/expat/missionary community.  Since the violence, that has virtually ended.  The staff continues to work and needs the salary more than ever, but the inventory builds up.  A wholesale shipment sold at wholesale…
