Two on Tuesday! Maple Leaf Park
Join us Tuesday, September 8th at 5pm for two hours of light work, food and refreshments in the Maple Leaf Park (behind the 1800 block of Bolton Street). Neighbors will be filling planting tulip bulbs and azaleas, digging out a couple old bushes, clearing vines and trash from both sides of the fence line and doing a bit of light weeding and prep for winter. Join us Tuesday, September 15th at 5pm for a couple of hours of light work, food and refreshments in the Mount Royal Public School Pollinator Garden (across from On the Hill Cafe at Mosher & Johns Streets). We're following up on the big cleanup this spring: weeding out some of the crab grass that's fought its way back, transplanting in some perennials and perhaps spreading a couple of yards of mulch underneath the picnic tables near the playground.
