2025 Festival on the Hill was a smash!
October 2025
Great weather, great food and drink, and hundreds of friendly neighbors showed up! Has there ever been a more successful Festival on the Hill? Not only was the 70th annual neighborhood extravaganza on Oct. 2 well attended, but preliminary accounting shows it to have been a financial success, as well. Income for the Bolton Hill Community Association for the day neared $24,000 – not counting the revenue received by other organizations with their individual booths.

Neighbors launch petition for historically-sensitive safety measures
October 2025
A group of Bolton Hill neighbors has created a petition that seeks both improved traffic safety and solutions that are respectful of our neighborhood’s historic character. The recently installed flexi-posts along Park Avenue were a first step toward addressing transportation safety concerns. We should thank the BHCA Transportation Committee for initiating this effort. However, many residents believe safety can be further improved. Flex-posts do little to reduce vehicle speeds except at intersections, and some have already been damaged, creating additional hazards.
