BHCA is partnering with the Maryland Institute College of Art in an open call for artists for an upcoming exhibition at the Meyerhoff Gallery. This community-focused exhibition, to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of MICA, will showcase the creative talent in the neighborhood. The exhibition will run from June 19 – July 19, with an opening reception on June 18, from 6-8 p.m.
Artists in the following neighborhoods are encouraged to apply: Bolton Hill, Madison Park, Marble Hill, Reservoir Hill, Penn North, and Druid Heights. The deadline for submissions is May 1. Artists may submit up to five pieces. All artistic mediums are welcome, from traditional painting and sculpture to digital and mixed media.
