Great weather, great food and drink, and hundreds of friendly neighbors showed up! Has there ever been a more successful Festival on the Hill?
Not only was the 70th annual neighborhood extravaganza on Oct. 2 well attended, but preliminary accounting shows it to have been a financial success, as well. Income for the Bolton Hill Community Association for the day neared $24,000 – not counting the revenue received by other organizations with their individual booths.
Expenses so far add up to about $12,500, so that a net outcome of $10,000 or more will be available to fund neighborhood projects and designated charities. Thanks to everyone who pitched in or attended.
