Fiftieth Anniversary of Contee-Parago Triangle Park
Come out to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Contee-Parago Triangle Park, named in honor of two long-time African American residents of Bolton Hill! There will be music, art, and children's activities, provided that it is safe to do so with COVID-19.

Makeover Day at Contee-Parago Park
Makeover Day will be literally giving the park its prime-time makeover. The Friends of Contee-Parago Park be creating new planting beds, removing non-native plants including irises, daffodils, and daylilies (which will be given away to volunteers), installing over 1,400 new plants, and unveiling new signage. The plan that was developed for us by the Association of Professional Landscape Designers contains over 90% native plants, which are better for pollinators, easier on resources, and healthier for us and the environment.
