Since the members of Mt. Royal Improvement Association voted to change the name and disassociate from MRIA’s segregationist roots in 2018, BHCA has continued in operation under the old association’s bylaws.
BHCA’s board has approved a policy developed by the BHCA Safety and Security Committee to make it easier for neighbors who are victims of a crime to access camera footage taken by residents through their security systems.
Bolton Hill Community Association members went back to the future this month, electing Neal Friedlander to lead the organization.
As outgoing president, he made these remarks at the annual BHCA members’ meeting.
That declaration acts as a preface to BHCA’s new strategic plan for Bolton Hill, the first such document in 15 years, intended to guide the association in establishing priorities and interacting with city government and private interests. The 21-page plan was unanimously adopted by the BHCA board at its April Zoom meeting.
