Fitzgerald Park

In partnership with Midtown Community Benefits District, come on out and plant some trees in the neighborhood.  All you need to bring is gloves and some shoes you don't mind dirtying; no equipment or experience necessary.  We intend to plant in small groups and maintain adequate space between individuals.

Join staff with the Midtown Community Benefits and fellow neighborhood volunteers to prune street trees.  No experience necessary!  Just bring some gloves, and Midtown will bring equipment from the Tool Bank.  We will be focusing on trimming trees in the southwest part of Bolton Hill (blue and purple areas in map).  Meet at Fitzgerald Park at 9 a.m.  Social distancing will be in effect.

Come on out with some gloves to plant trees in the neighborhood! The Midtown Community Benefits District will bring out trees for tree wells that need them and the equipment, and volunteers plant them. No experience necessary. Everyone meets at Fitzgerald Park and then splits up to do the planting.

If your car has a current parking permit decal or pass, you’ll be contacted by Baltimore’s Parking Authority to renew online at https://pabc.thepermitstore.com. This year, you’ll have the option of 1) having your new parking permit(s) mailed for an extra fee; 2) picking it up at the Parking Authority office downtown; or 3) picking it up at the community permit pick-up this year in Fitzgerald Park on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.   Make sure to…

Come on out rain or shine and any time of the day with other volunteers around the neighborhood to pick up trash as part of a spring clean-up event co-organized by the Bolton Hill Garden Club and Bolton Hill Community Association. Trash bags will be available at 9 a.m. at Fitzgerald Park and can be placed by any metal trash can around the neighborhood for the Midtown Community Benefits District to pick up. The Bolton Hill Garden Club's annual spring plant sale!

This year's Spring Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, April 22, in Fitzgerald Park (at Bolton and Wilson Streets). A variety of annuals, perennials, herbs, and hanging baskets will be available. The BHGC Annual Garden Walk will take place on September 9, 2023 from 3-5 pm. This year's Garden Walk will feature more than 10 of Bolton Hill's prettiest gardens and will start and end in F. Scott Fitzgerald Park. The Garden Walk will be followed at 5 pm by a reception, also in F. Scott Fitzgerald Park. The Garden Walk and reception are free to BHGC members, $10 per person for non-members, and free for children 12 and under.

Come on out to prune trees in Bolton Hill! No experience necessary. The Midtown Community Benefits District will provide the tools and make sure novice pruners are paired with experienced pruners.
