After eight months of pandemic, we all yearn to see better days return. Then thoughts turn to the question, “What can I do to help now?” Start at home by supporting the organizations that serve our community. And as with all non-profits these days, they need our support this fall more than ever.
Several Bolton Hill residents work every year to beautify and improve our neighborhood. Some of them work on a specific project or effort that merits special recognition, and at this year’s virtual BHCA membership meeting, they were recognized.
St. Francis Neighborhood Center in nearby Reservoir Hill had plans for finishing out the current school year with after-school enrichment youth development programs for 75 children (ages 5 – 19, including 12 high schoolers) and support for their low-income families, while planning their annual summer camp.
