In what could become an annual cool-weather supplement to the summer Arts in the Parks concerts, BHCA is hosting with the Basilica Oratory at Corpus Christi church two indoor music concerts, free to the neighborhood.
The first one is on Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m., and features New Orleans-style Dixieland jazz by a duo that has played at the annual September birthday parties for F. Scott Fitzgerald: The Charles Street Winding Boys.

On Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m., it’s opera. James Harp, the artistic director for Maryland Opera and cantor at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, will play operatic organ and piano melodies, based on spiritual themes. Retired Towson Italian professor John McLucas will introduce and explain the music. Both Harp and McLucas are Bolton Hill residents.
Corpus Christi Catholic Parish ceased to be a parish on Dec. 1, 2024. It is now an oratory of the Basilica of the Assumption.
