BHCA and its Gray Panthers Task Force will host a reception on Friday, Feb. 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. to honor some three dozen Bolton Hill residents who have lived in the neighborhood for 50 years or more.
Everyone in the neighborhood is invited, but seating space will be limited. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to graypanthers@boltonhillmd.org. Refreshments will be provided.
At least two of these “Golden” Bolton Hill residents have been here 75 years, growing up in the neighborhood. A few who lived here for half a century have moved away but may be returning for the reception. Bolton Hill, after all, is not just nice neighbors and great architecture; it’s a state of mind.
Admission is free, although a $10 contribution to cover expenses is encouraged; do it now here. Or contribute cash at the event in the Community Room at Linden Park Apartments, 301 McMechen St.
These are among the 50-year residents identified; perhaps there are others. If you know of others, please contact graypanthers@boltonhillmd.org:
