A rite of spring in Bolton Hill, the Bolton Hill Garden Club’s spring plant sale will take place on Saturday, April 19. It will be in Fitzgerald Park (corner of Bolton and Wilson Streets), from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. It will feature for purchase annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and herbs – also available for pre-order on the BHGC website in the lead-up weeks.
BHCA and its Gray Panthers Task Force will host a reception on Friday, Feb. 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. to honor some three dozen Bolton Hill residents who have lived in the neighborhood for 50 years or more.
Is that you in the picture? Well, perhaps it could be. Bolton Hill resident Reed Perry teaches free tai chi classes each Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church – and neighbors are invited.
Each year, the Bolton Hill Garden Club (BHGC) holds a holiday greens sale to raise money to support BHGC’s educational, greening and social activities. This year, the sale will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Brown Presbyterian Memorial Church from 9 a.m. to 3:00 pm.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that this month’s Festival on the Hill — the 65th annual — was among the very best. Great volunteer participation, great weather and hundreds of neighbors turning out made the Oct. 5 event really special.

Volunteers and contributions are needed to assure the success of the annual neighborhood block party that dates back more than 65 years. The Organ Historical Society will present its 2024 annual convention in Baltimore July 20-26, with programs and organ concerts around the city and in Bolton Hill.
