I am remarkably proud of this neighborhood. A year ago, I stood here and challenged you all to meet people who are different from you.
Boltonstock is coming! Boltonstock is coming! Yes, Bolton Hill’s biggest summer event will be held on Saturday, June 25 in Sumpter Park from 5–9 pm.
This summer, we will be producing a single July/August issue which will be published on July 22.
We will return to our usual monthly schedule for the September issue,

Spring is the time for Membership renewal. If you are not yet a MRIA member or have not renewed for this year,
On the first Tuesday, May 3, MRIA will hold its Annual Membership Meeting, start with a social hour at 7 pm. Business will begin at 8 pm,
The Social Action Task Force (SATF) had a lot going on Saturday, April 16.
The day kicked off in the late morning with the second
Thursday evening, April 14th, about 40 Bolton Hill residents joined MRIA leadership and city officials for a Safety Walk around the neighborhood.

Planning has started for BoltonStock 2016, and the date has been set: June 25 from 6–9 pm.
You may remember that last year,
For years, the State Center Neighborhood Alliance, in various forms, has been working hard to ensure that the neighbors bordering this large parcel benefit from its development.
After the recent MRIA inventory of lighting in our neighborhood’s streets and alleys, the volunteers who conducted the survey noted that a number of houses had front door lights that were not turned on.
